About Financial Vines

The Financial Vines was founded by Himani Chaudhary with a simple belief: financial knowledge should not be limited to people who work in banks, read balance sheets or have years of investing experience.

Himani began her career in financial risk consulting at Deloitte, working with banking and financial-services clients in India and abroad. She later built on that experience through her postgraduate education at the National Institute of Bank Management, after studying Economics at Delhi University.

But while working in finance, she noticed a gap.

Financial institutions were managing billions of rupees, while ordinary Indians were still struggling with questions as basic as: Where should I keep my savings? How much insurance do I actually need? Is an FD enough? How should I plan for a home, retirement or financial independence? What does a loan really cost me?

That became the starting point for Financial Vines.

Himani began creating finance content alongside her corporate career, translating complicated financial concepts, rules and numbers into simple, practical explanations. What started as a side project grew into one of India's largest personal-finance communities.

She eventually left her corporate career after her content business consistently matched her salary and chose to build Financial Vines full-time.

Today, the community reaches 1.3M+ Indians, with more than 50,000 learners, 100+ financial tools, 800+ lessons and 500M+ content views.

But Financial Vines is no longer just a content platform.

We are building a financial ecosystem where people can learn, calculate and actually make better financial decisions, through education, calculators, financial planning tools, learning resources and technology built specifically for Indian money.

Our approach is deliberately different.

We don't believe financial education should begin and end with "buy a SIP" or "invest in this stock." Real financial life is much bigger than that. It includes insurance, debt, taxes, inflation, FDs, bonds, retirement, government schemes, cash flow, financial goals and the thousands of small decisions that ultimately determine whether someone becomes financially secure.

Himani's work has been recognised nationally, including being named the inaugural winner of the Kotak Katalyst Award for India's Best Financial Content Creator, selected from more than 600 entries across India. She has also been recognised by Hurun India Women Leaders for her contribution to digital personal finance and financial literacy.
